‘reverb’ magazine is a subversive arts and culture magazine aimed at discerning women.
For the digital issue, I selected an article written by one of my favourite journalists,
Jia Tolentino, on the subject of the homogenisation of female faces as a direct result of Instagram, facial filters and plastic surgery.

By taking iconic depictions of women and warping them beyond recognition, I hope to highlight the dangers of the interplay between the digital and physical realms, the dark side of personal optimisation and the drab reality of a mass standardisation of beauty.
